Lorraine Duffy Merkl is a published author, freelance journalist, and advertising creative director/copywriter.

 

She’s written three novels: The Last Single Woman in New York City (2022) published by Heliotrope Books, Back To Work She Goes (2013), and Fat Chick (2009), both published by The Vineyard Press.

Lorraine Duffy Merkl hails from the Bronx borough of New York City. She received her A.B. from Fordham University. She currently resides in Manhattan with her husband, son, and daughter.
